One of sour, two of sweet, three of strong, four of weak — the old rhyme, built on dark Jamaican rum and drunk long over ice.

Method
Fill a tall glass to the top with ice.
Put the lime juice, sugar syrup, rum and orange juice into a shaker with a scoop of ice.
Shake for 10 seconds.
Strain into the ice-filled glass.
Add the bitters over the surface, where they will sit as a dark line before they sink.
Garnish with the orange slice and cherry and serve with a straw.
